Heat ‘Don’t Like Their Hand’ In Jimmy Butler Trade DiscussionsHeat ‘Don’t Like Their Hand’ In Jimmy Butler Trade Discussions

The Miami Heat have yet to receive any attractive trade offers for Jimmy Butler, according to Brian Windhorst of ESPN.

“They’ve definitely gotten a lot of calls. The issue here is that most of the offers are not that attractive to the Heat. And that doesn’t surprise them because a month ago they heard some calls on Jimmy Butler and then they came out with that statement that they weren’t going to trade him because they really didn’t like any of the offers.

Right now you’re seeing a lot of teams testing just how low they might be able to buy Jimmy Butler for,” said Windhorst on SportsCenter.

Windhorst added that the Suns were the exception and continue to pursue a trade for Butler. With the Heat uninterested in taking back Bradley Beal’s contract, a potential trade would have to include three or four teams.

Windhorst added that he does see Butler eventually getting traded.

“It’s going to be a lot of talking, a lot of complicated maneuvering. I think Butler will eventually get moved but the Heat don’t like their hand right now at all,” added Windhorst.

Blazers To Sign Taze Moore To 10-Day ContractBlazers To Sign Taze Moore To 10-Day Contract

The Portland Trail Blazers are signing wing Taze Moore to a 10-Day contract. Portland had to sign a 14th player by Sunday to be in NBA roster compliance.

Moore spent most of this season, and all of last season, with the Texas Legends of the G League. The Rip City Remix, the Trail Blazers G League affiliate, acquired the 6-foot-5 wing in a trade last week.

In 21 total G League games this season, Moore has averaged 9.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 1.4 steals. Moore has been considered one of the better perimeter defenders in the G League this season.
