Despite talks with the Lakers that continued into last night, the Phoenix Suns agreed Saturday to trade Trevor Ariza to the Washington Wizards for Kelly Oubre Jr. and Austin Rivers, according to sources familiar with the trade discussions.
The New York Knicks have acquired Bojan Bogdanovic and Alec Burks from the Detroit Pistons for Quentin Grimes, Evan Fournier, Malachi Flynn, Ryan Arcidiacono and two second-round picks.
The Pistons had rejected trade interest in Bogdanovic last trade deadline after they signed him to a two-year, $39 million extension shortly after he was dealt to the team by the Utah Jazz. Bogdanovic won’t be a free agent until 2025.
Burks previously played for the Knicks before he was traded to the Pistons in 2022 to create cap space to sign Jalen Brunson.
Fournier is making $18.9 million this season and there is a team option on his contract for 24-25.
