Both Caruso and Giddey are in entering the final years of their contracts. The Thunder are reportedly interested in extending Caruso’s deal before he hits unrestricted free agency next summer.

The Bulls will have an opportunity to offer Giddey a rookie scale extension. If no deal is reached, Giddey will be eligible for restricted free agency in the summer of 2025.

Russell Westbrook and Oklahoma City bounced back nicely from an ugly loss at Memphis. Westbrook had 17 points, 14 assists and 12 rebounds for his NBA-best 16th triple-double of the season, leading the Thunder to a 114-88 victory over the depleted Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday night. Westbrook played just 28 minutes as Oklahoma City put away Los Angeles with a big first half.
