The Memphis Grizzlies have named Tuomas Iisalo as interim head coach to replace Taylor Jenkins. Iisalo was hired by the Grizzlies as assistant coach during the 2024 offseason after he coached Paris Basketball the previous season.
Iisalo is a 42-year-old former shooting guard from Finland who played professionally in Europe from 2000 until 2014 when he immediately entered the coaching ranks.
The Grizzlies overhauled their assistant coaching staff during the 2024 offseason.
