Grant Hill: USA Basketball To Pursue Joel Embiid For 2024 Olympics

USA Basketball will continue to recruit Joel Embiid to play for the United States in the 2024 Olympics, Grant Hill told Marc Stein in an interview.

Embiid, who has American citizenship, also became a French citizen in 2022.

Embiid reportedly has yet to make a decision on who to represent in the Olympics.

Team USA recently released its 12-player roster for the upcoming World Cup.

Anthony Davis didn’t seem fazed that fellow All-Star DeMarcus Cousins was sitting on the bench during crunch time. Davis scored 46 points and grabbed 21 rebounds Saturday night, leading the New Orleans Pelicans to a 125-122 victory in overtime against the Charlotte Hornets. The Pelicans won despite Cousins not returning to the court after picking up his fifth foul with 9 1/2 minutes left in the fourth quarter.

Ball has mostly been healthy this season after playing in only 36 games in 22-23 and 22 games in 23-24. In 18 games this season, Ball is averaging 31.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 6.9 assists in 34.1 minutes.
