While Jrue Holiday set the tone early in the game for the Celtics, their entire top-6 played well with Jayson Tatum putting up 31 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds in his best performance of the series.

Derrick White had 14 points and eight rebounds, going 4-for-8 from three to stop a few runs from the Mavericks.

The Mavericks refused to go away in the second half, but their 11-for-37 shooting on three-pointers kept the Boston lead safe.
