Brooks and Lopez are both scheduled for unrestricted free agency, barring late extensions. That’s more likely for Lopez than Brooks, who the Grizzlies publicly said they would be moving on from.

Johnson is the lone restricted free agent of that bunch. With nearly $60 million projected cap space, Houston could put together a large offer sheet to try and pry Johnson away from the Nets.

After being traded to Philadelphia by Dallas, Justin Anderson couldn’t wait for the opportunity to prove his worth to his former team. Anderson tied his career high with 19 points and Robert Covington scored 12 of his 18 points in Philadelphia’s dominant third quarter, helping the 76ers rout the Mavericks 116-74 on Friday night. Richaun Holmes added 17 points for the 76ers, who snapped an eight-game losing streak to Dallas while spoiling Nerlens Noel’s return to Philadelphia.
