The Milwaukee Bucks are progressing forward to hiring Adrian Griffin as their next head coach. Milwaukee fired former coach Mike Budenholzer following their elimination from the playoffs at the hands of the 8th-seeded Miami Heat.

Griffin has been an assistant coach for the last 15 seasons. Griffin started his coaching career with the Bucks in the 2008-09 season. He’s spent the last five seasons as an assistant under Nick Nurse with the Toronto Raptors.

Griffin had a nine-year NBA player career. He played for the Boston Celtics, Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, Chicago Bulls and Seattle SuperSonics during his NBA career.
