Mason Plumlee has been diagnosed with a sprained MCL in his left knee.
Plumlee suffered the injury in a collision with Julius Randle in Monday’s loss by the Los Angeles Clippers at the New York Knicks.
Plumlee will return to Los Angeles for further evaluation.
The Clippers currently have two open roster spots.
The 76ers say Joel Embiid will have surgery on his left hand and will be reevaluated in one to two weeks.
One left a dynasty in the middle of the season to hang out with Carmen Electra in Las Vegas. The other left the basketball court and was suspended 86 games for a brawl in the stands.
