Lonnie Walker IV was not included on the Maine Celtics initial training camp roster. The G League Celtics will start training camp this week, ahead of their season opener on November 8.

Walker attended training camp with the Boston Celtics on an Exhibit 10 contract. The veteran guard was waived before any portion of his contract became guaranteed. Walker had spoken previously that he understood his path back to the NBA may come via playing in the G League.

Despite not being on the training camp roster, Walker could be added by Maine at any time. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard may be sorting through his options before committing to the G League.

Last week, it was rumored that Walker was drawing interest from Real Madrid in Spain. Walker has previously played for the San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets in his six-year NBA career.
