Kenny Atkinson has been named the 24-25 NBA Coach of the Year, winning the award in his first season with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Atkinson joined the Cavaliers after several seasons as an assistant coach with the Golden State Warriors. Mike Brown previously won Coach of the Year in his first season after leaving the Warriors.

J.B. Bickerstaff finished second followed by Ime Udoka. Bickerstaff was in his first season with the Detroit Pistons and helped guide their turnaround to the playoffs.
