Cleveland’s Ricky Rubio has again suffered a torn ACL in his left knee and will miss the remainder of the season. Rubio, who was averaging 13.1 points, suffered the same injury while with Minnesota in 2012.

The Golden State Warriors trade to acquire Dennis Schroder could have been an even bigger deal. The Warriors and Brooklyn Nets discussed potential variations that would have seen Cam Johnson also head from Brooklyn to Golden State.
The Warriors would likely have had to include Jonathan Kuminga in a deal that returned Johnson. Golden State chose to make a simpler trade that brought back Schroder for now, while continuing to give them time to evaluate Kuminga. The young forward has recently put together a string of good games for Golden State.
