Cade Cunningham After Pistons Lose 25th Straight Game: ‘We’re Not 2-26 Bad’

The Detroit Pistons lost their 25th straight game on Thursday night with a 119-111 defeat to the Utah Jazz.

The Pistons are now one loss away from the NBA single-season record.

“We’re not 2-26 bad – no way are we that bad. I think we can turn this around. We can play a much better brand of basketball,” said Cade Cunningham, who had 28 points and 10 assists.

The Jazz, who were playing on the second night of a back-to-back, were without Lauri Markkanen, Jordan Clarkson, Keyonte George and Talen Horton-Tucker.

“A team that played last night got [50] points off turnovers and rebounds. It is unbelievably hard to understand how we can get outworked in those categories,” said Monty Williams after the game.

The game finished with the Pistons crowd chanting “Sell the team!” to owner Tom Gores.

The Pistons play the Nets on Saturday.
