Jones is expected to start with Monte Morris backing him up. Both players were signed to one-year, veteran minimum contracts. Jones also reportedly drew interest from the Atlanta Hawks and his former team, the Memphis Grizzlies.

With Jones set to start, Grayson Allen will move to a bench role. Allen signed a four-year, $70 million extension at the end of last season, when he was one of the NBA’s best shooters in terms of percentage and volume.
