The Detroit Pistons made a crucial stand to keep their dwindling playoff hopes alive. Marcus Morris had 28 points and 13 rebounds, and Ish Smith hit the go-ahead 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter, helping the Pistons beat the Brooklyn Nets 90-89 on Thursday night. “So I think that’s how my approach has been with this and will be with this. We’re going to be patient; we’re going to do what’s best for our team. We’re going to see how this lands. And if it takes months, it takes months.”
Cronin revealed he hasn’t spoken to Lillard since the trade request arrived on July 1st.
