The Cleveland Cavaliers have expressed no inclination to discuss Donovan Mitchell trades at this point, sources tell Zach Lowe of ESPN. Lowe adds that position may not change “unless Mitchell expresses some imminent unhappiness in Cleveland.”
There is a common perception in league circles that Mitchell will eventually leave the Cavaliers either via trade or free agency in 2025.
Mitchell is most commonly linked with the New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets and Miami Heat should he leave the Cavaliers.
