Booker cannot become a free agent until 2028.

T.J. McConnell and the Indiana Pacers have agreed to a four-year, $45 million contract extension that will run through the 28-29 season. McConnell had been under contract for $9.3 million for the 2024-25 season and now is tied to the Pacers for five years and $54 million.

McConnell is one of the NBA’s more productive backup point guards.

The Pacers now have Tyrese Haliburton, Pascal Siakam, Andrew Nembhard and Obi Toppin on long-term deals.
