The Milwaukee Bucks reportedly would like to play a more versatile style of defense next season, which could lead to Brook Lopez being available via trade this summer. With Doc Rivers beginning his first full season as head coach, they could look to change their schemes.
Lopez has one season left on his deal at $23 million. He’s also heading into his age-36 season. Despite his age, Lopez has remained productive player, as he averaged 12.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.4 blocks per game last season.
Lopez nearly signed with the Houston Rockets during his 2023 free agency.
