• Milwaukee Bucks: No. 2 seed with win against the Magic, or loss to Magic combined with losses by Cavaliers to Hornets and Knicks to Bulls. No. 3 seed if Cavaliers lose to Hornets, or Knicks lose to Bulls. No. 4 seed with loss to Magic combined with wins by Cavaliers and Knicks
• New York Knicks: No. 2 seed with win against Bulls combined with loss by Bucks to Magic. No. 3 seed with win against Bulls combined with win by Magic, or loss by Cavaliers, or loss by Magic. No. 4 seed with loss to Bulls combined with win by Cavaliers, loss by Bucks.
• Cleveland Cavaliers: No. 2 seed with win over Hornets combined with losses by Knicks and Bucks. No. 3 seed with win over Hornets and loss by Bucks. No. 4 seed with wins by Bucks and Knicks.
• Orlando Magic: No. 5 seed with win over Bucks combined with loss by Pacers to Hawks, or win and loss by 76ers to Nets, losses by Heat, Pacers and Sixers. No. 6 seed with win over Bucks, or losses by Heat and Pacers. No. 7 seed with loss to Bucks combined with Heat loss, or win by the Sixers and loss by Pacers. No. 8 seed with loss to Bucks combined with wins by Heat and Sixers.
• Indiana Pacers: No. 5 seed with win over Hawks combined with loss by Magic. No. 6 seed with win combined with win by Magic, or loss to Hawks combined with losses by Heat and Sixers, or loss to Hawks combined with win by Magic and loss by Sixers. No. 7 seed with loss to Hawks combined with either loss by Heat, Magic win, or loss by Sixers. No. 8 seed with loss to Hawks, wins by Heat, Magic and Sixers.
• Philadelphia 76ers: No. 5 seed with win over Nets combined with loss by Pacers to Hawks. No. 6 seed with win combined with loss by Magic, or loss combined with wins by Heat and Bucks plus loss by Pacers, or loss combined with losses by Heat and Magic plus win by Pacers. No. 7 seed with win by Sixers combined with wins by Pacers and Magic, or loss to Nets combined with loss by Heat, or loss to Nets combined with loss by Magic. No. 8 seed with loss to Nets combined with wins by Heat and Magic.
• Miami Heat: No. 5 seed with win over Raptors combined with losses by Magic, Pacers and Sixers. No. 6 seed with win combined with losses by Magic and Pacers, or win combined with losses by Magic and Sixers. No. 7 seed with win combined with loss by Magic, or win combined with loss by Sixers. No. 8 seed with loss, or with win combined with wins by Magic and Sixers.
• Chicago Bulls: Clinched No. 9 seed
