NASCAR has sent teams a tentative schedule outlining the Cup Series’ return to action in less than three weeks beginning at Darlington.
Kurt Busch’s car could have been parked at an auto show. Monster had sponsored Busch, the 2004 NASCAR champion, in the Cup series the last two seasons. The initial buzz wore off when Busch slammed the car nose first into the wall early in NASCAR’s kickoff race, crunching the hood and leaving the squiggly ”M” claw flapping as the car skidded across the track and into the infield grass.
Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Martin Truex Jr. and Kevin Harvick will race for the 2019 Cup Series title at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
