Eric Thames hit his 13th career homer in 20 games against the Reds to lead the Brewers to a win. Jesus Aguilar also homered for Milwaukee, which stays 2 1/2 games ahead of the Cubs in the National League Central. Cincinnati starter Anthony DeSclafani allowed two runs through 6 1/3 innings, but he was responsible for two of the three that scored on Thames’ homer, which was allowed by reliever Amir Garrett.
