Molina helps Giants rally, sweep Marlins

Florida Marlins' Sergio Mitre (52) is tagged out on a second-inning double play by San Francisco Giants' Ray Durham during a baseball game in Miami Monday, Aug. 20,2007.

The San Francisco Giants have finally learned how to win on the road. In Miami, at least. Bengie Molina drove in the go-ahead run in the sixth inning with his third RBI single, and the last-place Giants overcame a four-run deficit Monday to complete a four-game sweep with an 8-7 win over the Florida Marlins.

First baseman Lucas Duda and the New York Mets avoided arbitration when they agreed to a $7.25 million, one-year contract, a small raise after an injury-plagued season. Duda, who hit 57 home runs from 2014-15, missed four months last year and was limited to 47 games because of a stress fracture in his lower back. The soft-spoken first baseman, who turns 31 next month, had a $6,725,000 salary last year and can become a free agent after the upcoming season.
