CINCINNATI — Even though the Yankees elevated right-hander Chad Green from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and sent utility player Rob Refsnyder out prior to Monday night’s 10-4 win over the Reds at Great American Ball Park, Joe Girardi’s bullpen still had a severe case of the shorts. And there was no guarantee that it won’t be short for Tuesday night’s game also. Having used six relievers in Sunday night’s 5-4 win over the Cubs that required 18 innings to complete, Girardi had his fingers firmly crossed that Masahiro Tanaka could navigate the Reds’ lineup deep into the game. Tanaka delivered seven solid innings, allowing four runs, three earned, on 10 hits and fanned six to get the win. “I think
