Thru n’ Thru set a quick early pace and held on for a three-quarter length win over Queen Amira on Wednesday in the $57,000 allowance feature for fillies and mares at Belmont Park. Thru n’ Thru, trained by Bob Baffert, ran the six furlongs on the firm turf in 1:08.13 for her third win in five career starts.

Testament, who has won three of 20 career starts, collapsed near the winner’s circle at Saratoga Race Course on Sunday after apparently suffering from heat exhaustion. The 4-year-old gelding, trained by Daniel Conway, Jr., finished fifth in a field of seven in the first race. Testament returned to the area in front of the clubhouse, and had been unsaddled when he fell.
