T.D. Vance found running room on the outside and went on to win the $80,000 Troy Stakes at Saratoga Race Course on Monday. After running fourth in the field of five, the 5-year-old gelding got up on the outside under Garrett Gomez and took the 5 1/2 furlong event on the Mellon turf course by a half-length in 1:03.15.
