McDynamo wins 5th straight Breeders’ Cup Steeplechase

McDynamo drew off over the final half-mile to win his fifth straight $250,000 Breeders’ Cup Grand National Steeplechase on Saturday, beating Sweet Shani by six lengths. Ridden by Jody Petty and trained by Sanna Hendriks, McDynamo took the lead for good down the backstretch. Good Night Shirt and Best Attack both tried to rally, but McDynamo took off and wasn’t challenged in the stretch.
