Astronomia, returning on short rest, rallied to win the $77,000 Valor Lady Stakes for fillies and mares at Belmont Park on Thursday. Astronomia, who finished eighth Saturday in the Noble Damsel Handicap, shook off the quick turnaround to beat Stormy Kiss by a head with Somethinaboutbetty third. Astronomia ran six furlongs on the firm turf course in 1:08.18.
