Hard Spun ready for another run against Derby winner Street Sense

Trainer Larry Jones isn’t giving away any secrets when he says Hard Spun will try to lead all the way in Saturday’s Kentucky Cup Classic at Turfway Park. If California Chrome prevails over the mile-and-an-eighth distance in the world’s richest race, his last before being retired to stud, he would become the first horse to pass $20 million in career earnings.
