Curlin and Hard Spun had their final workouts Monday for the $5 million Breeders’ Cup Classic. The Classic on Saturday is the richest of the 11 races at Monmouth Park on Oct. 26-27. Preakness and Jockey Club Gold Cup winner Curlin went four furlongs in 50.20 seconds at Keeneland for trainer Steve Asmussen.
