Rahm joins the lead and the large pack chasing green jacket

Jon Rahm had two meaningful shots at the par 5s on the back nine Saturday morning, one for birdie and the other for par, that allowed him to cap off a 6-under 66 and join a five-way share of the lead after 36 holes at the Masters. Tiger Woods remains in the mix with one birdie and seven pars to complete a 71, leaving him four shots behind. Ten players were separated by one shot going into the weekend, and 27 players were separated by five shots, a list that includes everyone from Woods and Phil Mickelson to Masters newcomers Abraham Ancer and C.T. Pan.

Play scrapped, scores reset at now 54-hole EvianPlay scrapped, scores reset at now 54-hole Evian

Day 1 play at the Evian Championship was scrapped on Thursday after officials decided not to resume the first round following a weather delay of nearly four-and-a-half hours. The opening round in Evian-les-Baines, France was halted with no players having completed nine holes. Because of that, rules allow for all scores to be wiped out and play to begin anew on Friday, which is what will happen. The event, the fifth major on the LPGA tour this year, has been reduced to 54 holes. Jessica Korda (through eight holes) and world No. 1 So Yeon Ryu (through five holes) shared the lead, at 2 under, when play was initially suspended. On the opposite end, U.S. Women’s Open winner Sung-Hyun Park was 6 over
