Aaron Gordon Has Grade 2 Hamstring Strain, Likely Needs Several Weeks To Recover

Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon is dealing with a Grade 2 hamstring strain. That’s an injury that takes several weeks to recover from. Despite Gordon searching for ways to play in Sunday’s Game 7 at the Oklahoma City Thunder, it’s unlikely he’ll be able to do so.

Gordon was injured late in the Nuggets Game 6 victory that forced Game 7. The Denver forward has been playing through a calf injury throughout the regular season and playoffs. It’s unclear if this hamstring injury was related to that calf injury.

Denver has officially listed Gordon as questionable for Game 7. The winner will move on to play the Minnesota Timberwolves in the Western Conference Finals.
