The Nuggets will conduct a thorough search in the offseason. Tim Connelly and Matt Lloyd have emerged as potential candidates for the job.
The Nuggets parted ways with Calvin Booth on Tuesday. Booth was on an expiring contract.
Kroenke is the governor of the Nuggets and the son of majority owner Stan Kroenke. Kroenke played collegiate basketball at Missouri.
