Cooper Flagg’s Improvement Has Helped Him ‘Exceed Expectations’

As the NCAA tournament is set to begin, Cooper Flagg remains the consensus No. 1 projected pick in the 2025 NBA draft. Flagg has maintained a distance ahead of the second ranked prospect Dylan Harper.

“Flagg has solidified his standing as the consensus No. 1 pick in a phenomenal freshman season that saw him improve every facet of his game, helping him exceed the expectations with which he had when he entered college,” writes Jonathan Givony at ESPN.

Flagg is averaging 19.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.3 blocks in 30.8 minutes over 31 games. Flagg also has a 31.9 PER. Duke could become the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA tournament if they win the ACC tournament.
