Dylan Harper Viewed By NBA Teams As Consensus Top-2 Pick In 2025 NBA Draft

Dylan Harper has had a strong start to his freshman season at Rutgers and “has established himself among front offices as a consensus top-two pick at this stage,” reports Jeremy Woo of ESPN. Harper is even a candidate to be selected at No. 1 even though Cooper Flagg remains the favorite.

Harper is averaging 21.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists. Harper is shooting 36 percent on almost five three-point attempts per game.

Rutgers, however, could miss out on the NCAA tournament as they are just 7-6 at this point in the season. Behind Harper on many mocks are teammate Ace Bailey as well as VJ Edgecombe of Baylor and Kasparas Jakucionis of Illinois.

PHOENIX (AP) It would have been an awesome play even when Phoenix Suns Arena was empty: Cameron Payne floated a pass to a streaking Torrey Craig, who soared through the air before grabbing the alley-oop and flushing a powerful dunk with two hands. As COVID-19 restrictions have slowly eased, the Phoenix Suns’ fan base is relishing the team’s return to playoffs for the first time in 11 years. The franchise welcomed a raucous sellout crowd of 16,219 on Monday night during its 122-105 victory in Game 1 over the Denver Nuggets.

The Boston Celtics will have to attempt to close out their third consecutive series without their starting center. Kristaps Porzingis was ruled out for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals due to a strained right calf.

The Celtics lead the Indiana Pacers 3-0, which means Boston can afford to play it safe with Porzingis. He’s been out since getting injured in Game 4 of the first round against the Miami Heat on April 29.

If Boston closes out Indiana in Game 4, their next game won’t be until Game 1 of the NBA Finals on June 6. If the Pacers win, the series shifts back to Boston and Porzingis could play in Game 5 on Wednesday, May 29.
