James Harden, Clippers Agree To One-Plus-One, $70M Deal

James Harden has agreed to sign a two-year, $70 million deal with the Los Angeles Clippers. Harden will have a player option for Year 2 of the deal that could allow him to become a free agent again in 2025. Harden’s future with the Clippers was independent of the decision made by Paul George on his own tenure with the Clippers.

The Clippers acquired Harden from the Philadelphia 76ers at the start of the 24-25 season. In 72 games with the Clippers, Harden averaged 16.6 points, 5.1 rebounds and 8.5 assists in 34.3 minutes.

Harden is represented by Brandon Grier, Troy Payne and Mike Silverman.
