Kenny Atkinson and James Borrego have emerged as early candidates for the Cleveland Cavaliers’ head coaching vacancy.
Atkinson was last a head coach in 2020 with the Brooklyn Nets where he coached current Cavaliers Jarrett Allen and Caris LeVert. Atkinson has most recently been an assistant coach with the Golden State Warriors.
Borrego was previously a head coach with the Charlotte Hornets and is currently an assistant coach with the New Orleans Pelicans.
Cleveland parted ways with J.B. Bickerstaff this week.
