Minnesota Timberwolves big man Karl-Anthony Towns has been diagnosed with a torn left meniscus. Towns’ will be out indefinitely.

Minnesota is in a battle for the top seed in the Western Conference Playoffs. Entering Thursday’s game, the Wolves are tied with the Oklahoma City Thunder at 43-19.

Towns had appeared in 60 of the Timberwolves first 62 games. He was a 2024 All-Star and averaging 22.1 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.
