Bismack Biyombo Collapsed During Thunder Game

Oklahoma City Thunder center Bismack Biyombo appeared to collapse during Wednesday’s game at the Portland Trail Blazers. Biyombo fell to the floor during a timeout in the second quarter. He was later helped back to the locker room and evaluated.

Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault said Biyombo avoided any kind of serious medical issue.

“He’s fine. He just fainted, basically,” Daigneault said. “He was in the locker room at halftime laughing and joking.”

Biyombo was held out of the remainder of the game for precautionary reasons.

The Warriors are on the brink of elimination ahead of an offseason of major potential change.

“It feels like what it is,” Steve Kerr said. “You go home and you take care of business. You get a win. And the momentum is right back in your favor. That’s all it is. Someone has to win four times. That’s why you play it out.”
