Eric Gordon Wants A Bigger Role In Suns Offense

Frustrations are mounting as the Phoenix Suns have slipped to a .500 record and 10th place in the Western Conference. Multiple Suns veterans have expressed that the team needs to figure things out. For Eric Gordon, he wants a bigger role in the Phoenix offense.

“Early on in the season, it was better. And lately, there just hasn’t been an emphasis [to get me more looks],” Gordon said. “So, it’s definitely different. Lately I haven’t been getting hardly any touches really.”

Suns coach Frank Vogel agrees that Gordon needs to be more involved.

“We’re looking at different guys. We need guys to step up,” Vogel said. “I got to keep moving the pieces around in terms of how we’re using certain guys. Can we get Eric Gordon more involved than I’m doing? I’m not doing a good enough job in making sure he’s involved in the offense. He’s a guy that can really help us.”

Embiid left the game after Jonathan Kuminga landed on his leg.

Embiid is scheduled for an MRI.

Nurse added that Embiid felt good before the Warriors game, and the medical staff was comfortable clearing him to play.
