Jamal Murray Out 3-4 Weeks With Right Hamstring Strain

Jamal Murray will likely be out for the remainder of November due to a right hamstring strain.

Murray was hurt in a victory by the Denver Nuggets over the Chicago Bulls on Saturday night. Murray also dealt with a similar injury in the preseason.

“This will be something that will be longer than we would like,” Malone said this week. “You have to have the big picture in mind and make sure we’re putting him in position to get healthy before he comes back.”

Murray didn’t sign a contract extension with the Nuggets in the offseason and could become supermax eligible if he makes an All-NBA team. Murray has yet to make an All-Star team or All-NBA team in his career, but he has established himself as one of the league’s best guards during the 2020 and 2023 playoffs.

Jae Crowder isn’t a “LeBron stopper” because nobody is a LeBron stopper. Not P.J. Tucker the last series, nor Paul George the round before. Not Andre Iguodala last year, or Kawhi Leonard as a Finals MVP a couple seasons before that, or anyone else you can imagine. It was easy to imagine why Crowder
