Bulls Gauged Trade Interest In Zach LaVine This Summer

The Chicago Bulls didn’t make any blockbuster moves this offseason, but they at least looked into the idea of one. Chicago took the temperature of other NBA in All-Star guard Zach LaVine, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

The Bulls ultimately extended Nikola Vucevic, re-signed Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu, and added Jevon Carter and Torrey Craig. Those moves came while Chicago works around Lonzo Ball being out for second consecutive season, as he recovers from a knee injury.

LaVine averaged 24.8 points on 48/37/85 shooting splits. LaVine also tallied 4.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game over 77 appearances.

The two-time All-Star guard has four years and $178 million remaining on the five-year deal he signed with Chicago in 2022. LaVine holds a player option on the final season in 2026-27.
