The Dallas Mavericks plan to waive-and-stretch JaVale McGee by the August 31st deadline.
The Mavericks have not officially completed the move in case a trade scenario materializes before the deadline.
McGee signed with the Mavericks during the 2022 offseason on a three-year, $20.1 million deal.
According to Keith Smith of Spotrac, McGee is owed $11,741,621 on the two years remaining on his deal.
