The Denver Nuggets have signed guard Reggie Jackson to a rest-of-season contract. Jackson was recently waived by the Charlotte Hornets after being acquired in a trade deadline deal that sent Mason Plumlee to the LA Clippers.

In 52 games with the Clippers this season, Jackson averaged 10.9 points and 3.5 assists. He’ll fill the backup point guard role for Denver, who traded Bones Hyland to the Clippers in a deadline day deal that brought Thomas Bryant to the Nuggets.

The move to Denver brings Jackson back home to Colorado. He played his high school ball at Palmer High School in Colorado Springs.

The Knicks finished 31-51 in their fourth straight season out of the playoffs.
