Wizards Waive Devon Dotson From Two-Way Contract

The Washington Wizards have waived guard Devon Dotson from his Two-Way contract. Dotson was signed by Washington in late-November.

The third-year guard was signed when the Wizards had several injuries at the point guard position. With both Monte Morris and Delon Wright now healthy, fellow Two-Way guard Jordan Goodwin playing well, Washington no longer need Dotson for depth.

Dotson appeared in six NBA games with the Wizards. He also played in 21 games with the Capital City Go-Go of the G League. With the Go-Go, Dotson averaged 13.1 points, 5.9 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game.

Doncic cannot become a free agent until 2026 at the earliest.

Doncic can sign his next supermax extension 2025.
