Kansas State basketball coach Bruce Weber went from the hot seat to the NCAA Tournament last season. Weber agreed to a contract extension Tuesday that could keep him with the Wildcats through the 2020-21 season, the first major personnel decision made by new Kansas State athletic director Gene Taylor. ”I have had the opportunity to observe our men’s basketball program and visit with Bruce on multiple occasions since I became athletics director,” Taylor said.
