Cam Johnson and the Phoenix Suns were unable to agree to a contract extension before the start of the season before he was eventually traded to the Brooklyn Nets. Johnson will be a restricted free agent this offseason.

Sources tell Brian Lewis of the New York Post that Johnson has a floor of $18 million per season and could easily hit the $20 million mark.

“I’ve said this – because this was a topic of discussion when I didn’t sign the extension – that I’m still under contract at this moment,” Johnson told the Post. “I still had that year; I still have the rest of this year. And my goal right now is to win games and make a playoff push.”
