Broncos general manager John Elway created a stir Friday when he said Colin Kaepernick had a chance to sign with Denver but turned them down. Elway failed to mention that the Broncos wanted Kaepernick to take a major pay cut in order to join the team. Elway also didn’t mention that Kaepernick turned down the team’s offer in 2016, before he started protesting during the national anthem.
