Madison Square Garden chairman James Dolan banned Charles Oakley from the arena Friday, though said he was open to reconciling with the former Knicks forward. In an interview with ESPN Radio’s Michael Kay, Dolan also confirmed a report that he had fired the Garden’s security chief, two nights after Oakley was forcefully removed from his seat and arrested at a Knicks game.
Sixers guard Markelle Fultz, who has been diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome, is expected to miss three to six weeks as he rehabs his right shoulder, sources told ESPN.
Damian Lillard has made significant improvement on his deep vein thrombosis in his right calf. He will continue to increase his on-court basketball activity.
Lillard’s availability for the Milwaukee Bucks’ first round series against the Indiana Pacers remains uncertain.
“Damian’s most recent weekly scan shows that his injury has significantly improved which will enable him to move ahead safely with increased basketball activity,” said Bucks General Manager Jon Horst. “Damian’s health remains our No. 1 priority.
