ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski gave an update on NBA Today on the trade available of Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray. Wojnarowski says it is “very, very likely” that Murray will be traded ahead of the February 8 trade deadline.

The Los Angeles Lakers are known to be interested in trading for the veteran guard. Wojnarowski says the Lakers would “almost assuredly” have to send the Hawks a first-round pick in any deal for Murray. Other teams that have been mentioned in having interest in Murray include the New York Knicks, San Antonio Spurs, Miami Heat, Philadelphia 76ers and Detroit Pistons.

Murray’s salary for this season is $18.2 million. That will jump to $25.5 million next season in the first year of a four-year, $114 million extension.
