CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — �� Sam Ard, a two-time champion of NASCAR’s second-tier series, died Sunday. Ard died in South Carolina. NASCAR called Ard “a tough-as-nails racer” in a statement confirming his death, but gave no details.
